Petworld is 10 years old this October. To celebrate, it is having a birthday party in Petworld Terryland this Saturday October 26. The celebrations will kick off at 10am and continue to 5pm.
There will be a children’s entertainer, face painting, and colouring competitions for the children. For the adults, there will be free refreshments and 10 per cent off in store. If you do not want to buy on the day, don’t worry – the sale will continue to November 2. Both the young and not-so-young will be delighted by the meerkat feedings, which will take place at 1pm and 3pm. These social animals love showing off for viewers.
Petworld is also hosting a competition in conjunction with Royal Canin, and the lucky winner will receive a year’s worth of free dog or cat food. Simply pop into Petworld Terryland and drop your name and your pet’s name in the competition box, or tune into Galway Bay FM for more details. Valerie Hughes will be on hand on Saturday at 2pm to announce the winner.
