Moycullen’s award-winning country market celebrated its fifth birthday on Friday.
With four of the initial stallholders still trading today, the Moycullen Country Market has mushroomed over the last five years to become one of the most successful in the county, attracting people from Connemara and Galway city.
The only all-year round Galway market to have received the coveted Board Bia food quality award for the last three years, Moycullen boasts a wide selection of food products that includes organic fruit and vegtable, bakery products, fish, free-range meat, honey, organic eggs, pancakes, and Connemara sushi, in addition to many craft stalls,
Free parking has contributed to the success of the Moycullen market, which runs every Friday from 1pm to 6pm in the winter months and from 1pm to 7pm in the summer.
