The Galway Education Centre is planning to roll out the Playworks programme for the first time in Ireland as part of Change Nation.
Playworks, which has been operating successfully in the US, provides teachers and students of primary schools with training and support in the organisation of student games and activities during break times and class times.
Teachers can attend workshop 1 or workshop 2 on October 23 and 24 from 4.30pm to 6.30pm at Galway Educate Together NS, Thomas Hynes Road.
