Bobcat Goldthwait, the man who opened for Nirvana on their last North American tour, star of the Police Academy films and several HBO specials, is coming to the Bulmers Galway Comedy Festival.
A member of American old-school comedy royalty, the genre-defying comedian, actor, writer, and director promises to take Galway audiences on a hilarious journey through politics, divorce, going broke, and his career as a director of film and TV.
Bobcat has shared his behind-the-camera talents as director on Jimmy Kimmel Live, The Demetri Martin Show, and The Chappelle Show. He recently won Esquire’s Director of the Year, he was named one of YAHOO!’s Top 15 celebrities to follow on Instagram, and was seen in the latest Snickers commercial alongside Robin Williams.
Bobcat Goldthwait plays the Roisin Dubh on Sunday October 27 and the Radisson Live Lounge with Kevin Bridges and others, on Monday 28. Tickets go on sale at 10am tomorrow. See www.BulmersGalwayComedyFestival.com
