THE GALWAY Film Centre will be holding a workshop for actors, with the director of Love/Hate, as well as workshop for writers in October.
Approaching Auditions is a half day seminar on October 14 which will look at the do’s and don’ts for auditions. It will be tutored by casting director Maureen Hughes and Love/Hate director David Caffrey. It will be followed by a workshop on October 15 and 16, for a smaller group of actors, to work on preparing scenes for mock auditions with David Caffrey.
A writing development workshop with screenwriter Ailbhe Keoghan, and script editor Mark McIlrath (Run And Jump, which won Best Feature at Galway Film Fleadh 2013 ), takes place on Wednesday October 4.
