WEST OF Ireland writers Maureen Gallagher and Mary Ellen Fean will read their work as part of Culture Night in Galway city tomorrow.
The reading, organised by the Western Writers’ Centre, takes place at the Café Express, Shop Street, at 7pm.
Maureen Gallagher’s debut poetry collection, Calling The Tune, was published by Wordsonthestreet Press in 2008. She has won or been shortlisted for many awards, including the Goldsmith Poetry Award, the Swift Satire Award, and the Cúirt International Award.
Mary Ellen Fean from Shannon, has had her work published in The SHOp, Revival, and The Clare Champion.
