WRITERS JOHN Foulcher, Rachel Coventry, and Padhraic Harris will read at the Over The Edge: Open Reading in Galway City Library on Thursday September 26 at 6.30pm.
Australian John Foulcher has published nine books of poetry and a textbook about writing poetry. His poems were set for study on the New South Wales Higher School certificate for more than 10 years. He has won numerous awards for his work and his poetry is described by the Oxford Companion to Australian Literature as “simple, direct and convincing”.
Rachel Coventry writes poetry and fiction. Her work has appeared in Skylight 47, The Burning Bush 2, and First Cut. Padhraic Harris lives in Galway where he practises law and takes part in creative writing classes at the GTI.
