Sons Of Gingerbread @ Monroe’s Live

SONS OF Gingerbread are not a band easy to pigeonhole, with a sound that encompasses funk, jazz, rockabilly, folk, reggae, ska, prog, and soul.

Galwegians can hear for themselves when the Mayo quartet take to the stage of Monroe’s Live tonight from 10pm. They have played support to Pentangle’s John Renbourn and Jacquie McShee, guitarist Peter Lang; blues duo Hat Fitz and Cara Robinson; and bluesman Spider John Koerner.
