A Galway Film Centre/RTÉ funded short film, The Weather Report, has wrapped and post-production work on it has now begun.
The Weather Report features Edward MacLiam (Holby City, Run and Jump ) and Marie Ruane (RAW, Foxes ). It centres around a mysterious phone call which questions a routine weather report by lighthouse keeper Ted Sweeney and arousing the suspicions of his wife Maureen.
The film was shot on location at Blacksod Lighthouse in Belmullet, County Mayo. The writer/director Paul Murphy won the Galway Film Centre/RTÉ short script award in June.
