Tesco Express opened its first store in Galway last Friday located at Tornóg, Ballinfoyle on the Headford Road.
The convenience store which extends to approx 380sq m (4,090 sq ft ) carries a wide range of food and drink products to benefit not only the local population but also the significant passing trade of the Headford Road. DTZ Sherry FitzGerald which deal with Tesco’s acquisitions in the west of Ireland was responsible for introducing Tesco Express into the scheme and Sean Coyne of DTZ Sherry FitzGerald advised that he is currently actively seeking other retail opportunities in Galway city and the west of Ireland for Tesco Express.
DTZ Sherry FitzGerald has been appointed as letting agents on the remainder of the commercial element of the Tornóg development which also includes: a parade of retail units neighbouring Tesco Express; first floor office accommodation; and a crèche.
