The Claregalway Hotel County Senior Football Championship semi-finals are down for decision this Sunday.
In Pearse Stadium Salthill/Knocknacarra, the current county champions, will face city rivals St James at 3pm.
Cathal McGinley's men are priced up as 4/6 favourites to advance, with Frank Doherty's charges available at 6/4.
If St James are to have any chance, they will need their big guns such as Paul Conroy, Johnny Duane, Eoin Concannon and David O' Connell to produce big and consistent performances.
The Seasiders will look to Gary Cox, Seán Armstrong, John Boylan and Seamie Crowe to post match winning scores. It should be a tight game, but Salthill's greater experience and physical power might just swing the game in their favour.
The game is preceded by Barna and Moycullen in the senior relegation tie at 1.15pm. Barna are 8/13 to avoid the drop, with Moycullen at 6/4 to win.
In the other senior semi-final, championship favourites Corofin are 4/11 to see off the challenge of John Concannon's Milltown at 5.45 in Tuam.
Despite having had two big championship games recently against Cortoon-Shamrocks to hone their skills and improve their fitness, Milltown are rank outsiders.
For me they represent attractive odds at 11/4 to put it up to a Corofin side which has not been tested at all in the championship to date. However with players such as returned county u-21 star Ian Burke back in the panel, Corofin do have a good subs bench.
That tie is preceded by a intermediate relegation play-off between Oranmore and St Brendan’s at 4pm.
