THE MAGIC Numbers embark on their first Acoustic Tour across Britain and Ireland this month, which includes a show at the Róisín Dubh.
The band - Romeo and Michele Stodart and Angela and Sean Gannon - play the Dominick Street venue on Monday September 23 at 8pm.
Speaking about the upcoming show, Romeo Stodart promised to mix old and new songs and conversations with the audience.
“Alongside everyone’s favourites, we will be premiering some new material from our forthcoming fourth album,” he said, “and getting up close and personal with you all, through our question-and-answer sessions. We can’t wait for you to hear the new songs!
“It’s an intense period for us, making a record – we push ourselves to create something different and exciting with every album; but we also tend to shut ourselves off from the world, so I’m really excited to be getting back out there. This new album has some of the best songs I’ve ever written, so I’m really eager for people to hear it.”
The as-yet-untitled album is to be expected early next year.
Tickets are available at www.roisindubh.net, the Ticket Desk at OMG, Shop Street (formerly Zhivago ), and The Róisín Dubh.
