The MADRA charity shop in Westside will hold a special coffee afternoon on Saturday from 12 noon to 3pm.
The event is a fundraiser for the dog rescue charity and to raise awareness of its shop which boasts pre-loved clothes, books, bric-a-brac, and household items.
Opened just before Christmas last year, the MADRA Westside Shop has gone from strength-to-strength and boasts stock at affordable prices. The shop is staffed mainly by volunteers who help provide a regular source of income for the animal welfare charity.
MADRA founder Marina Fiddler says: “We would like to thank our customers and donors for all of their support since we opened last year. At a time when fundraising is extremely difficult it is great to be able to generate income for our charity while also providing a service for the people in the local community.”
The MADRA Westside Shop is located at An Fiontarlann, the Enterprise Unit behind Dunnes Stores in Westside. The shop is open every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 11am to 5pm.
