Traffic calming proposals on display at City Hall

Proposals for traffic calming measures throughout Galway city are now on display in City Hall on College Road.

Seventeen locations have been agreed for traffic calming measures and members of the public interested in making observations or submissions in writing may do so up to 12 noon on Monday August 26.

Documents in relation to the traffic calming measures can viewed at the City Council Transportation and Infrastructure Department at the annex of Yeats College, College Road.

City councillor Terry O’Flaherty has welcomed the proposals going on public display, in particular those planned for Lurgan Park Road, Ballyloughane Road, Ballyloughane Beach Road, and Lake Shore Drive, Renmore, for which she has made representations.
