‘dela Restaurant’ - Galway’s newest dining experience is a firm favourite for racer-goers for the Galway Races Summer Festival! Located in the west end of the city at 51 Lower Dominic Street, race week at dela includes; live entertainment, delectable specials and convenient opening hours, serving brunch and evening dining ‘til late.

Creating an indoor style picnic, dela is focused on sourcing, using and sharing the best of Irish ingredients, offering more than a restaurant but a food venue where people can meet, share and enjoy artisan food and wines in an earthy, cosy ambience.

To complement the seasonal menu, Head Chef at dela Restaurant, David Banningan has created a selection of Race Week specials using the finest local produce. Diners can savour a delectable range of Sharing Plate or sample a variety of smaller bites from the Tasting Plates.

The menu also includes traditional main dishes, along with a selection of healthy salads and tempting homemade desserts and baked products. While the handpicked wine list perfectly complements the menu with all wines expertly sourced from small, boutique vineyards.

On the Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of Race Week, the smooth sounds of harpist and guitarist Seána Davey is guaranteed to entertain diners from 8.30pm. Performing traditional to more alternative genres like South American, jazz and contemporary music, Seána is acclaimed for her relaxed yet engaging performance.
