THE GALWAY funk, ska, reggae, and trad sevenpiece The Hardcore Priests of Yemen will launch their new album in Galway this weekend.
The launch for Cardboard Circus will be a concert upstairs in the Townhouse Bar, Spanish Parade, this Sunday.
The band - Jakob Schazzman (drums ), Jen Fox (violin, djembe, xylophone ), Gwen Dring (flute ), Sean Hatton (mandolin ), Gerard Hatton (bass ), Béibhinn O’Conner (cello ), and Féilim O hAoláin (vocals/guitar/clarinet/synth ) - have also played the Body and Soul and Cairde festivals.
Support is from Tara Stacey, Lunatic Spoons, and Bap To The Future. Tickets will be available on the door at €10 which includes a copy of the album.
