Corofin calling all past players to GAA Gathering

Corofin’s past GAA players are being invited to attend a special event on July 24 as part of the village’s Gathering 2013.

The theme of the night is "If you ever wore the jersey" and the club is calling on all former players, at any grade, male and female, to attend on the event which will take place in the festival marquee behind Raftery's Pub in the centre of the village

From 6.45pm to 7.45pm there will be a training exhibition by some of the underage teams on the main pitch, followed by Mass in St Colman's Church for all past and present members of the club at 8pm.

After the Mass, there will be a opportunity to catch up with former playing colleagues and friends for an evening of music, chat and craic, in the festival marquee.

The event is part of a week of activities organised by the Corofin Community Development Association to mark the Gathering 2013 which has been labelled - "Corofin Calling".

Events start on Sunday (July 21 ) and finish with an agricultural display at the GAA pitch on Sunday July 28.
