DTZ Sherry Fitzgerald has announced two significant management appointments within the company. Mr Aidan Gavin has been named managing director of the company while Patricia Staunton has been appointed head of DTZ Sherry Fitzgerald, Galway.
Mr Gavin joined the company in 1997 having graduated from Oxford Brooks University. He began his career in Dublin’s residential business, but soon moved to the commercial arm of the company where he has remained since. Mr Gavin specialised in office lettings and disposals and has for the past 16 years led the company in Galway where he more recently expanded his role to regional director. He has developed the company’s commercial business into an unrivalled market leader in regional Ireland.
Patricia Staunton has over 14 years’ experience as a chartered surveyor in both the Dublin and the regional commercial markets. She has been involved in acting on behalf of clients and advising them on all aspects of commercial property. Patricia relocated to the Galway office in 2004 where she has built up extensive experience in providing leasing and development consultancy to a range of institutional and private clients on all facets of commercial property. Ms Staunton has been involved in advising various receivers, borrowers, and banks on property values and strategies to realise and enhance values.
