The Galway hurlers do not have much time to dwell on their Leinster final defeat to Dublin as they return to the club championship this weekend.
A full round of championship games are scheduled, kicking off tomorrow evening at 7.15pm when Gort take on Mullagh in Loughrea in group B, while at the same time in Kenny Park Ardrahan face Turloughmore.
There are two games down for decision on Saturday evening at 7pm and both are in group C. Craughwell play hot favourites Loughrea in Gort. Craughwell are 9/2 with Mulhollands in that one, while in Kenny Park, Kinvara (5/4 ) and Castlegar (8/11 ) are in action, also at 7pm.
There are four games scheduled for Sunday - and two double headers.
In Kenny Park at 5pm Kiltormer take on Beagh and that is followed at 6.30pm by Clarinbridge v St Thomas. The All-Ireland club champions are 2/5 to prevail, with the Bridge at 9/4.
The other double header is in Loughrea where Pearses face Tommy Larkins (5pm ) and Killimordaly take on Portumna with a 6.30 throw-in.
