JULIE FEENEY and The Walls are among the musicians who will be making their way to Inishbofin for the island’s summer concerts.
The concerts start on July 16 with Eleanor Shanley, who will be joined by guitarist Frankie Lane and Paul Kelly. On July 23, Steve and Joe Wall (The Walls, The Stunning ), will take to the stage.
On July 30 award-winning vocalist, composer, and conductor Julie Feeney will perform. Her third album Clocks went to No 1 in the independent Irish Album Charts and was voted Best Album 2012 by The Irish Times.
The line-up also includes the singer-songwriters Eleanor McEvoy (August 6 ); Duke Special (August 13 );and Declan O’Rourke (August 20 ).
The final concert on August 27 features Inishbofin’s Dessie ‘Say You Love Me’ O’Halloran, with Colm Gannon (accordion ), John Blake (flute/guitar ), and Geraldine King (guitar/vocals ).
