THE FLIRT FM Sessions returns to Monroes Live tonight from 10pm with Franko Franko, Ka Tet, and Audio Fires.
Franko Franko is a Dublin-based synth-pop outfit who combine sun-drenched sixties harmonies with modern electronic sensibilities. Galway trio Ka Tet unleash the kind of chunky riffs on their guitars that has seen them compared with Queens of the Stone Age; Kilkenny’s Audio Fires (pictured above ) cite their influences as Band of Skulls, Kings Of Leon, and The Vaccines.
