THE IRISH mezzo-soprano Sharon Carty will sing in Galway Cathedral this evening at 8pm as part of the cathedral’s Summer Concerts series.
Sharon will be accompanied by Andrew Robinson on the viola da gamba and harpsichordist David O’Shea. The programme will be centred around Handel’s cantata ‘La Lucrezia’. There will also be music by Purcell, Telemann, Arcadelt, and others.
