THE KILKENNYS, the modern Irish folk band who have shared the stage with Shane McGowan and Finbar Furey, play The Quays Music Hall on July 18 and 25.
The Kilkennys have successfully re-introduced Irish folk and ballads to a young audience while also winning approval from more seasoned trad fans.
The band is working on a forthcoming studio album which will contain original tracks and classic Irish songs. They have also reached 160,000 hits on YouTube, while new single ‘The Gathering’ is available on iTunes.
