Check your tickets — two Galway players due €850,000 in unclaimed lottery winnings

A total of €850,000 is waiting to be claimed from the National Lottery’s Daily Million Plus and Lotto Plus 1 games. The winnings are from two tickets, both of which were bought in Galway in May.

A winning €7.50 Quick Pick Daily Million Plus ticket worth a staggering €500,000 was purchased in Peter Kelly’s, Ballinasloe, on Monday May 13. Another €4 Lotto Plus 1 Quick Pick ticket worth an impressive €350,000 was purchased at Headlines Newsagents, Corrib Shopping Centre, Galway, on Thursday May 16.

The winning numbers for the Daily Million Plus draw, which took place on May 13, were 7, 16, 23, 24, 25, 33, and the bonus number 15.

In the Lotto Plus 1 draw, which took place on May 18, the winning numbers were 1, 12, 18, 21, 24, 28, and bonus number 39.

The National Lottery is urging people who purchased tickets for these draws to check them now.

Anyone in possession of one of these winning tickets should contact the National Lottery on 01 8364444 as soon as possible to claim the prize. The earliest opportunity for the winners to claim their winnings is this week, but they have up to 90 days from the day of the draw to collect a prize.

National Lottery good causes benefit from the sale of all National Lottery games, with approximately one third of all sales going to fund beneficiary projects around the country, as designated by Government.

Since the National Lottery was launched, more than €4.2 billion has been raised for good causes. This level of funding has made a significant difference to communities, projects, and individuals in the areas of youth, sports, recreation, amenities, health, welfare, arts, culture, national heritage and the Irish language.
