The Old Barracks Pantry and Bakery in Athenry, which has been open now for almost three years, has just extended its opening hours and added a new bistro menu to meet the growing demand for evening fare in Athenry during the summer months.
The chefs have picked some of the favourites from the à la carte menu, and added a few sharing platters and light bites, to bring a lovely fresh new bistro menu which is served each day from 5pm to 8pm.
The new menu is already proving popular with the Barracks customers. Prices, of course, are reasonable as ever at the Barracks, where the home catering service has been very busy also through the Communion and confirmation season, and the team are already taking bookings for next year.
The Old Barracks operates a bring your own wine (BYO ) policy for the bistro menu, and it also has a wine list available from its neighbour, Iggy’s Off Licence.
