Mike Mullery of Mullery auctioneers explained that due to a large volume of recent sales, combined with strong demand, the company is urgently seeking more properties for sale.

The agent has recently sold and agreed sales on a large number of properties, many for well in excess of the asking prices. Sales include a number of city centre apartments, a house in Woodquay which sold for well in excess of the guide price, a detached house in Knocknacarra which attracted enormous interest, a semidetached house on the Clybaun Road, a house in Loughrea, a house in Bohermore which sold for well in excess of the guide price, a house in Renmore, an apartment in Oranmore, two houses in Ballinderreen, a house in Terryland, and several apartments on Sandy Road.

Mr Mullery indicated that the key to achieving the best possible price is down to the presentation and marketing of the property, and also hard work on the agent’s part which includes flexibility for viewings. “Generally our marketing approach includes extensive online marketing on all of the main property websites including daft.ie, myhome.ie, and our own website, professional photographs, for sale board, newspaper advertising, full colour brochure, and editorial coverage,” he explained. “We launched a new website late last year which includes high quality photographs for each property, Google Maps, and Google Street View.”
