ARTIST’S STUDIOS around Galway city will open to the public this Saturday as part of OSCAILTE 2013, organised by Galway Arts Centre artist-in-residence Ramona Burke.
This artists’ studios open day is to encourage the general public and recent art graduates to visit working artists’ studios; see first-hand the day-to-day activities of artists’ spaces; meet the artists; and find out what really happens in a studio.
The studios open are Galway Arts Centre, Dominick Street; Engage Art Studios, Cathedral Building, Middle Street; Forge Clay Studios, 42 New Road; Artspace: Unit 7 and 8, Addley Park, Liosbán Industrial Estate, Tuam Road; and The Loft, Unit 61A, Briarhill Business Park.
