FIVE RISING stars in acting, directing, writing, producing, and cinematography have been nominated for the Galway film Fleadh’s Bingham Ray New Talent Award.
This nominees are: actor Kelly Thornton for Life’s a Breeze; director Steph Green for Run & Jump; writer Ailbhe Keogan for Run & Jump; producer Emmet Fleming for Out of Here; and cinematographer Eimear Ennis Graham for Cold
Co-founder of indie film distributor, October Films and former president of United Artists, Bingham Ray attended the Galway Film Fleadh for many years before his untimely death in 2012.
Bingham spent his time at the Galway Film Fleadh mentoring filmmakers; listening, advising and encouraging, and in 2012 the Galway Film Fleadh recognised his generosity, wealth of knowledge and contribution to the industry by creating the Bingham Ray New Talent Award.
The winner of the 2013 Bingham Ray New Talent Award will be announced at the closing night awards ceremony in the Town Hall Theatre on Sunday July 14. See www.galwayfilmfleadh.com
