Young Galwegians who want to learn kayaking, music production, fishing, street theatre, visual arts, and field sports should check out the new Foróige summer camps.
The Foróige summer camps will run for three weeks, Mondays to Fridays; July 1 to 5, July 8 to 12, and July 15 to 19. The cost per young person is €100 with a discount for families. The fundraiser is open to those aged 10 to 18 in Galway city and county. All activities will be run by trained and vetted professional youth workers.
All funds raised will go towards the rent of the Galway City Youth Café. Camps meet at the café at 10am each morning, returning at 4pm.
