THE DEADLINE for submissions to the Galway Film Fleadh’s Pitching Awards is today.
Applicants submit a 500-word story idea for screen which are then read by an designated industry panel. All copies must be submitted blind, ie, your name must not appear on the story page.
The best five are shortlisted and will be invited to present their pitch to a panel of judges on Sunday July 14. The winner receives €3,000 to enable him/her to further develop their script and enhance his/her filmmaking skills.

The 25th Galway Film Fleadh takes place from Tuesday July 9 to Sunday 14.
