THE GALWAY prog/post-hardcore/metal band Ilenkus will be turning things up to a Nigel Tufnel approved 11 at the Róisín Dubh next week.
The quintet play upstairs in the Dominick Street venue on Thursday June 20 at 9pm. In 2011 the band released their debut album Rule By Thieves (Savour Your Scene Records ), which was described by Drop-D.ie as “majestic post-metal”, while Terrorizer magazine stated: “You’d have to be pretty thick not to check these guys out.”
Ilenkus have supported The Ocean, Rolo Tomassi, James Cleaver Quintet, Xerath, and Proven.
