DNG Maxwell Heaslip and Leonard launches June auctions

Leading auctioneering firm DNG Maxwell Heaslip & Leonard last week launched the latest in its summer series of auctions. Following the company’s successful May auctions, which saw ten lots be brought to the market, it has brought six more lots to the open market with huge interest already reported at the twice-weekly open viewings.

Having received excellent results with the sales of eight of the lots in the May auctions, including the much published and talked about Costello Lodge in Cashla, the auction team in DNG Maxwell Heaslip & Leonard are excited about their latest offerings and are once again extremely confident they will get the right results for their clients. As usual with DNG Maxwell Heaslip & Leonard's auctions, there is something there to attract buyers from across a wide spectrum of the market, with the opportunity to acquire properties ranging from a two bedroom investment property close to the university, to a terraced home in St Mary’s Avenue, Taylor's Hill.

While always offering an eclectic mix of properties to potential buyers, they are also conscious that keeping the number of lots to a manageable number ensures they give each property the attention it deserves. The Francis Street based property experts are widely recognised as a firm that offers a more personal touch and their many clients will testify that to that.

“We do things a bit differently at our auctions,” said director Alan Maxwell. “We limit the number of lots and also try to offer guide prices that are realistic and reflective of the current market. In doing so we have avoided the whole ‘fire-sale’ method that's become synonymous with the auction market at the moment.

“When we bring a property to the auction floor, we obviously do it with a view to getting the best price for our clients, but we also try to ensure that those who are looking to buy a particular property get a fair chance at doing so,” he added. “It's a method that works for us and we will keep providing this service as long as it works.”
