OVER THE Edge at the Galway City Library on Thursday May 30 at 6.30pm will feature Thomas McCarthy, Eileen Ní Shuilleabháin, and Seán Kenny.
Waterford’s Thomas McCarthy has published eight collections of poetry, two novels, and a memoir. He has won the Patrick Kavanagh Award, the American-Irish Foundation’s Literary Award, and the O’Shaughnessy Prize for Poetry. He is a member of Aosdána.
Eileen Ní Shuilleabháin, from Carna, Connemara, is a social worker and psychotherapist. Her poetry has been published by Emerge, The Burning Bush, and The Galway Review.
Seán Kenny’s fiction has appeared in Crannóg, The Irish Times, and the Irish Independent. He won the Over The Edge New Writer of the Year 2012.
