THE PSYCHEDELIC sound of Carlisle’s The Lucid Dream will be heard at Monroe’s Backstage Bar tonight at 11pm.
The band - Mark Emmerson, Wayne Jefferson, Mike Denton, and Luke Anderson - will release their debut album Songs Of Lies and Deceit on July 1. Their music is psychedelic, reverb-soaked, and spacey, but with an earthy rock core.
Their influences are Spiritualised, Oasis, and Primal Scream, and they have received critical acclaim from NME and BBC DJ Lauren Laverne.
