A green tribute to Pink Floyd

EPIC MUSICAL explorations of inner and outer space, the human psyche, and the outer limits of rock - Pink Floyd excelled in this like few others.

Through the psychedelic adventures of the band under Syd Barrett’s leadership, to the ascension of Roger Waters, one of Britain’s greatest post-war songwriters, the Floyd created a body of work that has influenced countless musicians from The Flaming Lips to The Orb to Aphex Twin.

Galway Floyd fans are in for a treat then when Irish Pink Floyd tribute Green Floyd play Monroe’s Live tomorrow at 10pm.

The eight piece replicate the iconic Pink Floyd sound on such classics as ‘Comfortably Numb’, ‘Money’, ‘Wish You Were Here’, and ‘Us And Them’, they also recreate the visual experience with walls, a circular screen, lasers, and lighting.

Tickets are €10 and available on the door or through www.monroes.ie and 091 - 583397.
