NUI GALWAY student radio station Flirt FM, will hold its Flirt FM Sessions concert/recording in Monroe’s Backstage Bar this evening at 10pm.
The concert, which will be recorded for broadcast on the Flirt FM Sessions show, broadcast on Tuesday nights, will feature Superblondes, Mark Connolly, and Stephen K.
Cork trio Superblondes play a melodic style of lo-fi garage rock, inspired by The Strokes and Interpol. Their self-titled EP and recent single ‘Kill Some Time’ were mastered by Howie Weinberg, who also mastered The Beastie Boys’ License to Ill and Nirvana’s Nevermind.
Mark Connolly and Stephen K are singer-songwriters.
