Entrepreneur and philanthropist John Concannon will be the guest speaker at the May Business Seminar in Ballybane Enterprise Centre tonight Thursday May 2 at 7.30pm.
Entitled Growing Your Business in Difficult Times, Mr. Concannon’s presentation will offer advice and valuable insights for start up and early stage businesses.
One of the west of Ireland’s major success stories, John Concannon first came to national prominence over 25 years ago when his appearance on the Late Late show propelled him centre stage.
A native of Kilconly, Tuam, Concannon is the founder of JFC Manufacturing which last year celebrated 25 years in business with a turnover of €40 million.
Dogged persistence and an unwillingness to take no for an answer are just some of the characteristics of John Concannon who has championed the establishment of Pieta House West in Tuam with out reach centres throughout the western region.
General Manager of Ballybane Enterprise Centre, Liam Bluett says he is delighted that John Concannon has agreed to speak.
“John Concannon is a hugely successful businessman who has steered JFC Manufacturing to global success over the last quarter century. He also finds time to devote to charitable causes and in particular has been responsible bringing Pieta House West, a suicide and self harm centre to Tuam.
“ I know that everyone who attends on Thursday will come away from the seminar the richer for having attended,” said Liam Bluett
The seminar is free, however booking is essential as places are limited. Please contact Michael on 091 386 004 to book your place.
