To aid vouluntary organisations in contending with the increasing public demand for their services, The Wheel will be running a workshop entitled “From Storming to Performing: Raising Morale in the Workplace.”
William Corless of YellowWood, will be conducting the half-day workshop on May 3 in Croí na Gaillimhe Resource Centre, Mill Street. He said: “The community and voluntary sector have always experienced challenges, even before cuts to funding. Organisations are now bravely continuing forward with limited resources and higher demands to a wider community. Team members as a result suffer hugely and can be left disheartened.”
The focus of this interactive project is to equip participants with the relevant skills that will help them to maintain the quality standards of their service. The course also encourages the adoption of teamwork into an organisation’s method for success. Participants will engage in areas such as team building, valuing diversity, team work and the common vision, conflict resolution - an overview, motivation towards a positive environment, and points of view.
The Wheel is a national training body for non profit organisations. To book a place on this course contact Eva tel: 01 454 8727 or e-mail: [email protected]
