Thinguma*jigSaw ‘secret’ Galway show

THE ECCENTRIC, theatrical, surreal, and imaginative Norwegian folk duo Thinguma*jigSaw will play their final Irish gig in Galway.

The duo play banjo, flute, melodica, and saw. Their lyrics deal with the movies of John Carpenter and gothic literature, and their music has been described as doomballadry, deathbed lullabies, and splatterfolk.

The show is hosted by the independent Galway record label Abandon Reason. Support is from avant garde folk bands United Bible Studies and Yawning Chasm.

The gig takes place this Sunday at 8pm. Admission is €5 before 9pm and €7 after. To find out where email [email protected]
