DNG Maxwell Heaslip & Leonard to bring Galway property market to new heights

After many months of speculation, one of the country's leading property firms is coming to Galway in a move which will see it merge with one of the city's most innovative property experts. The nationally renowned DNG group and the city based firm Maxwell Heaslip & Leonard will join forces and are set to offer a whole new level of professionalism and service to the Galway property market.

It has been a long term goal of the DNG group to set up in Galway city and the merger with Maxwell Heaslip & Leonard is seen as a major coup in Irish property circles. Its arrival in Galway with this newly formed partnership will ensure it has a major presence instantly in the country's third biggest city.

DNG has 75 offices throughout Ireland and is one of the largest property franchise groups in the country. DNG's managing director Keith Lowe has been looking for the right fit in Galway over the past two years and believes that the merger gives the best mix of local knowledge with national expertise.

“For the past two years we have been looking at the opportunity to come to Galway and have spoken with a number of agents, but we were only prepared to go into serious discussions with a major agency and the team at Maxwell Heaslip and Leonard certainly ticked all the boxes for us,” Mr Lowe said. “Our reputation in the Irish property market is second to none and in a city like Galway we want to be represented by a firm that uphold the highest standards, especially in times where the public expect a premium service and expert knowledge and prowess in all aspects of property related services.

“Galway is a key location in the Irish property market,” he added. “Their knowledge and experience coupled with their standing in the community ensures that Maxwell Heaslip and Leonard will give us the city presence we want, and more importantly will be able to provide DNG with a business partnership we can be proud of. We and the entire DNG nationwide network look forward to working with James, Alan, and Fergal and their team on many future Galway projects ensuring that our corporate and private clients obtain the best possible local and national expertise.”

The city centre based agency Maxwell Heaslip & Leonard is already at the forefront of the Galway property market, having long been established as the best known names in the Galway property market. Director Fergal Leonard MIPAV MCEI is excited about the merger and believes it will see their business go from strength to strength. “We are absolutely thrilled at the move,” he said. “The DNG group are a major force in the Irish property market and we are really looking forward to this new venture. We have been speaking with Keith and his team for some time now and the more we looked at it the more the merger made sense for us. We already provide a property service which is second to none in the west of Ireland and have vast experience in the residential and commercial sectors in all areas of property related services including valuations, letting management, private treaty sales, and auctions. There is no doubt that this will bring us to a whole new level and we couldn't be happier with the decision we have made.”

Having recently been the first to broadcast a live streamed auction in the west of Ireland, the newly formed DNG Maxwell Heaslip & Leonard will do it again with its May auctions. Although the May auction book is finalised, the company is already planning its June auction and, under its new guise, can promise more exposure for properties than any other agency.
