GALWEGIANS INTERESTED in acting and performing on stage at the Galway Fringe Festival in July might like to check out new courses from the Galway Actors Workshop.
Classes are in the Anno Santo Hotel, Salthill, with levels two and three culminating in a performance at the Galway Fringe Festival.
Advanced rehearsal skills will use explore Stanislavsky and Chekhov techniques. Classes start Wednesday April 24 at 6.30pm and runs for 12 weeks.
For beginners there is introduction to acting, on Monday April 29 at 6.30pm and runs for 12 weeks.
Level Two, scene study, is for those with some experience either in workshops or on stage. It looks at voice, character, dialogue, movement, and interpreting and performing scripts. It starts on Thursday April 25 at 6.30pm and runs for 12 weeks.
Acting for fun is a Level One/Two class for those with some experience and more confident beginners, on Wednesday April 24 at 11am and running for 12 weeks.
