THE ATHENRY Music School’s fifth annual MEGA Concert will be held in the Galway Cathedral on Sunday April 14 at 3pm.
The concert celebrates the work of Athenry youth orchestras and choirs. It will feature music by ABBA and Carl Jenkins as well as a performance of Riverdance. The concert finale will see all 300 students of the school join forces for the MEGA Orchestra, featuring violins, violas, cellos, double bass, harps, tin whistles, accordions, concertinas, guitars, trumpets, trombones, flutes, and clarinets.
Athenry Music School is a not for profit community school which promotes a positive, fun, and inclusive approach to music education.
Admission is free and all are welcome.
