Get ready to boogie with Michael Kaeshammer

MICHAEL KAESHAMMER, the jazz, swing, and boogie pianist, vocalist, and songwriter returns to the Róisín Dubh on Thursday April 4 at 8pm.

Ryan Tubridy has described him as “a cross between Michael Bublé and Jools Holland”, while in his native Canada, the Calgary Herald has called him “technically brilliant and a spectacle...like taking a Ferrari for a drive through winding mountain highways and then going for a gourmet meal”.

Michael’s recent DVD Kaeshammerlive! earned him a Juno Award nomination (Canada’s Grammy Awards ) for Best DVD Of The Year. His next album, Touch Of Love will be released this summer.

Speaking about live performance, Kaeshammer said: “For me performance is as much about the energy coming off the stage as the energy coming from the audience. It’s about showing my love for life. After the show, people ask me, ‘Do you really have that much fun?’ And I say ‘You don’t know the half of it. It’s even more exhilarating than it looks’.”

Tickets available online at www.roisindubh.net, from the Ticket Desk at OMG, Shop Street, and The Róisín Dubh.
