TWO FICTION writers and a poet will read at the Over The Edge: Open Reading in the Galway City Library on Thursday March 28 at 6.30pm.
Colm Keegan has performed his poetry at the Flat Lakes Festival, Electric Picnic, and the Festival of World Cultures. He was All Ireland Slam Poetry Champion in 2010.
He writes short stories and screenplays and has been shortlisted four times for the Hennessy New Irish Writing Award. His debut collection of poetry, Don’t Go There, was published last year by Salmon.
Headford’s Yvonne McEvaddy is the author of two novels, Passion Killer and Shadows of the Dead. She is working on a third novel and a children’s book. Pat McDonnell writes fiction and is also a musician.
There will be an open-mic after the featured readers. New readers are welcome. The MC will be Susan Millar DuMars. For more information contact 087 - 6431748.
