PROTOBABY PLAY “clever, epic rocktronica” according to Hot Press and are “the best thing to happen to Limerick music in a long time” say State Of Affairs.
Galway will be able to see what the excitement is about when the band play Monroe’s Live on Thursday March 21 at 11pm. The band are currently promoting their new single ‘Microchip’.
The band’s debut album, The Spark, was released last year and was described by Hot Press as being “full of incendiary indie anthems and stadium-straddling rock numbers that sound absolutely massive”.
Singles from the album, ‘State Of Affairs’, ‘Traditions’, ‘Fluorescent’, and ‘Only A Spark’, have enjoyed national and regional airplay. The band also recorded a session with Paul McLoone for his Today FM show.
Tickets are €5 and are available on the door or through www.monroes.ie and 091 - 583397.
