DJ, BROADCASTER, photographer, and artist, Donal Dineen has been the renaissance man off the indie/altertnative scene in Ireland for some two decades.
Donal makes a welcome return to Galway for a show in the Nuns Island Theatre for a collaborative show with musician Seán MacErlaine this Saturday at 8pm.
The show will involve a concert by Seán, featuring music from his new album, Long After The Music Is Gone - which blends saxophones and clarinets with live electronics. The Irish Times called it “an extraordinary solo recording” by “one of the most interesting and adventurous musicians of his generation” - with visuals by Donal, a discussion by both artists on what inspires, motivates, and drives them, and the screening of an experimental live film.
Tickets are €10/8, on the door. Nuns Island Theatre. Soft drinks will be provided by the venue free of charge.
