PIERCE BROSNAN stars in Love Is All You Need, by the Oscar winning Danish director, Susanne Bier, which will be shown in the Town Hall Theatre this evening at 7.30pm.
The screening of this romantic comedy is a fund-raising event for the Solas Picture Palace arthouse cinema on Lower Merchants Road.
Love Is All You Need scripted by Anders Thomas Jensen, and shot on location in Italy and Denmark, is a warm, funny, heartfelt look at starting a new life.
Philip (Brosnan ), a lonely, middle-aged English widower and estranged single father living in Denmark meets Ida (Trine Dyrholm ), a hairdresser recuperating from chemotherapy and whose husband is leaving her. A chance for a new start arises for them both.
Love Is All You Need has received critical acclaim with The Telegraph calling it “gloriously enjoyable” and a “perceptive and good-hearted drama”, while The Hollywood Reporter said the film was “both pleasurable and satisfying”.
