New Ford Focus van set to 'Edge' rivals

Ford has just launched its new Focus van. It replaces the successful Focus Mark III van, which was the best-seller in its segment until it ceased production in 2011.

Prices for the new Focus van start at €15,203 with the Edge version starting from €15,853, both ex-works and excluding VAT.

Available in a five-door body style and with a 1.6 TDCi 95 PS diesel engine, the new Focus van draws on the strengths which have made the passenger version of the car the top-selling model in Ireland.

A fresh new exterior, upgraded interior, and new features and technologies combine with outstanding environmental credentials and acclaimed driving dynamics that are sure to keep Focus Van at the top of its segment in the CV market.

The new Focus van boasts a gross payload of 581kg, with a load area length of 1490mm, load capacity of 1148 litres and average fuel consumption of 4.5 litres per 100km. The exterior car-like appearance of the vehicle is enhanced by the internal blanking of the rear windows.

The Focus Edge van has the following standard items: air conditioning, 3.5” multi-function display,electric heated door mirrors, body coloured door handles, leather steering wheel, and driver lumbar support.
