Easter activities for children at city museum

The Galway City Museum will hold several free events for children over the Easter holidays.

On Wednesday March 27, artist Sinéad McKiernan will help young children and parents decorate Easter eggs using Celtic designs and spirals. On Wednesday April 3 and Thursday 4, local archaeologist Anne Carey will lead workshops for children to learn the skills needed to be a junior archaeologist.

The 11am workshops each day are reserved for children aged five to eight, with the 2pm workshops for those aged nine to 12.

All materials are provided. Places are limited and must be booked in advance by calling the museum on 091 - 532460 or by emailing [email protected]
