ICPPD to offer professional qualification in holistic counselling and psychotherapy in GMIT

The International College for Personal and Professional Development (ICPPD ) is based in Athlone with outreach centres at Belfast, Dublin, Galway, and Wexford. The ICPPD was set up to inspire, encourage, and support continuous learning. The college provides training and education to adult learners interested in personal development or a career in counselling and psychotherapy, and to professionals already working in those areas.

The ICPPD will hold an open evening on Wednesday March 27 at GMIT, Galway, from 6pm to 8pm.

At ICPPD the focus is on adult learners and the courses, and because the campuses are efficient and suitable for purpose the college can keep its overheads, and thus their fees, affordable. The college aims to achieve and maintain a standard of excellence in its programmes and students, and in its staff as educators, through a combined commitment to a person-centred, holistic, approach for individual learners.

The ICPPD’s goal is to be a leading provider of accredited personal and professional programmes in counselling and psychotherapy. The three-year professional diploma in holistic counselling and psychotherapy is accredited by the National Association for Pastoral Counselling and Psychotherapy (NAPCP ) and meets the criteria of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP ).
